In the ebook, Zen to Done, Leo recommends changing our lives one habit at a time. The first habit to tackle is collecting. This is simply writing things that need to be done down in a small notebook as you think of them. Then, at the end of the day, you move the information to where it should live, ie, appointment book, to do list, or trash.
While it sounds simple enough, it is more challenging than it first appears. I tend to remember to write things down when I should be moving them to my appointments, task list, etc. Sigh. I have been a bit better about writing down the money I spend though so it does have a bright side.
I am also beginning to work on Habit 2 – Process. More about that next week.
