The Daily Debt Snowflake Challenge #1
Posted on March 2, 2008
Filed Under Daily Flake, debt |
I am going to be posting a different challenge each day. Each will save from 1 to 5 dollars from your budget and I challenge you to send that savings to reduce a debt. In keeping with the snowflake method of debt reduction, this will be in addition to your regular monthly payment. Don’t wait, sign into your bill payer account and send that dollar today!
Today’s Challenge:
Cut the coupons out of the Sunday Paper and use them to save money on the items you normally purchase. When you get home from the grocery store, send the total savings to your selected bill.
Snowflake: $1-5

I am new to the debt snowflake concept. It certainly has merit. Could you use the same concept to increase income? Do one thing each day that would lead toward a snowflake (a blizzard even?) of income. It can be as simple as reading things like this quote.
“Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.”- John Quincy Adams
Positive affirmstions like “It is within my power to be debt free” or “I can see the day I send my last payment on my credit card debt”, help us visualize success. What my mind can conceive, I can acheive.
