There are budget tools of every size, complexity and description and the only thing they have in common is that most of them are free. They are in no particular order. I did a review of Expensr and liked it but wanted to see what else was available. I found a lot more than I bargained and so we have one giant list that leaves you NO MORE EXCUSES.

If you want the benefits of a good, functional online personal budgeting utility but do not want to give out access to your bank accounts or your personal identity, there is one little online budgeting utility that is completely anonymous and free to use, and it is excellent for first time budgeters as well as advanced with lots of guidance and help and an open users billboard to talk to other users.
It’s called Out Of The Dark (OOTD) and it is located on the web at:

Happy budgeting.
This is great info to know.
I just finished developing my online budget application. It’s called Budgetoo and it’s 100% free. It has the control of a spreadsheet, minus the tedious work. Give it a try, and let me know what you think:
