Guess What? It’s February

I love February!! Why you ask? Well, Valentines day is in February. My Dad was born in February. And best of all, this year it means I made it through January!! Yup, I still have house and home and business.

Historically, February isn’t a much better month than January in the grooming business but it is better. Since I had a slow month in December, I am expecting February to pick up a bit more than it normally would. Right now, I have to take this one week at a time. At the business, at least, I am not starting the month out behind.

Closings may keep me afloat personally while I build the grooming business this summer. And I have 2 litters of puppies coming in February that will help pay off bills in April, if I can make it that long. Puppy money has always gone back to the dogs… veterinary expenses, fencing, health testing, showing, etc but this year, it’s going to go to survival. We will make it, the dogs and I.
