Is it a sign of old age when a change in your schedule throws you off balance? Today is Wednesday which is normally my day off. Today, however, I have to go to work. Even though I knew I had to work today, in the back of my mind I have been scheduling things that I wanted and needed to do today.
It has been a busy week already. I got a call yesterday to schedule an interview for the ‘perfect job’ which initiated a short shopping trip for interview clothes. I went to my foster parenting class last night after work. It’s a nine week course and very much focused on what foster kids go through after they go into the system. Imagine having 9 or 10 different parents when you are growing up and having to adjust to different families and schedules, schools, teachers, etc on top of losing your own parents and family.
My webhost suspended my web site for some unknown reason on Sunday and then on Monday they were still having server issues so Oh My Aching Debts was offline for most of both days. It’s amazing how much stress that can cause in your life.
Carnivals and Links
My post on containers for vegetable gardening was listed in the Festival of Frugality which posted yesterday. Over 80 articles included this week so be sure to check it out.
Bouncing Back from Bankruptcy hosted the Carnival of Credit Card Stories and included my post on 28 Tips to Improve Your Credit Score.
Lynnae at Being Frugal has an awesome review of Keeping Up With Our Parents. Be sure to read the comments on this post as it has stirred quite a discussion.
Gather Little By Little hosted the 148th Edition of the Carnival of Personal Finance. Due to my server issues, I did not get an article included but there are quite a few great articles that were submitted.
I’ve Paid For This Twice Already has a great article on Sometimes It Is the Amount of Money You Make. Ok, I can certainly agree with this one. There isn’t much way I can reduce my expenses any more than I have so increasing my income is my ONLY choice.
Girls Just Want To Have Funds has an interesting article on The Psychology of the Recession. Check it out to find out what her silver lining is.
And that my friends is all I have time for this morning.
