About Me

When I started this blog, I was frustrated by bills that I couldn’t pay. I had recently lived through the “summer from hell” caused by five different contract on my house that fell through. After supporting two houses for months on very little income, I finally sold my house at a rock bottom price. The sale kept me from losing not only that house but also the house that I was purchasing, however, it totally eliminated the extra funds that had been designated to pay off bills. I started the blog to help keep me focused on paying them off as well as my overall financial well being. With a struggling new business, it has been a roller coaster ride from the get go. And at this point, the blog is more about survival than about paying them off but I will get there eventually.

I have learned so much about personal finance through reading other blogs and books. Although sharing my own personal finance quagmire has been painful, I am glad to be able to give back some of what I have learned. Eventually, I hope to be able to start research into how to invest but it seems far distant at the moment.
