RateNerd, I actually like twitter but I have learned to be a lot more selective about who I follow.

I am not a huge Twitter fan - all my updates go on Twitter but lately all I see is more and more spam. Its easy to get thousands of followers, the trick is to get ones who matter and care. Could be yesterdays news any day now.

Thanks for the candid look at it. I've been wondering about 'joining' but it seemed like too much intrusion into my life. Think I'll just continue with the email subscriptions, that I can delete with the click of a button, or read at my leisure, as I feel like at the moment. :)

A lot of people are forgetting to get out of business mode and start being personal. This is why I only follow people I want to see their updates on twitter.

I wrote about this a few months ago myself. It was unnamed at the time but I now call it Twitter fatigue. I refuse to follow more than around 100 people because after that it gets to be too much.

The ones that get me are the constant requests to stumble tip digg or whatever your posts kill me. I unfollow those people.

I enjoy Twitter and get a lot out of it. As a Twitter geek though I must point out that we tweet, not twit. I'm a dork I know.
